Writing into Painting
Pellehn Blum’s paintings are based on his most personal writing, usually poems, which are to him almost like a diary of fleeting thoughts and preoccupations. Each painting illustrates a line or verse from a poem, Pellehn Blum wrote beforehand. The works here are grouped according to the poem they belong to, being Nature Morte with Lobster and his wife Pearls, the only one fully illustrated to date.
